Did a PPT Slide Doom Columbia

Edward Tuft is a genius. His area of expertise, how to present complex information in an easy to comprehend visual format.
Therefore, as you might expect, he isn’t a big fan of PowerPoint.
Here is a link to a detailed analysis of why the PPT slides created by Boeing, concerning potential damage caused to Columbia on take-off, did everything possible (not saying intently) not to be convincing or even informative.
What is even more interesting to note is that a similar PPT mistake could have led to the lose of the Challenger as well. NASA and Boeing need to send their engineers and executive to a Tuft seminar. You should attend as well, even if your company won’t pay. It is a rewarding experience. As I said, he is a genius.
