The Best Marketing Books

December 16th, 2004  |  Published in Advertising, Books, Marketing 101  |  1 Comment

Below is Amazon’s ten best selling marketing books. Although there isn’t a bad book on the list, but I only agree with two of them. The Amazon’s List (as of 12/16/04) includes:

  1. The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference
  2. Purple Cow: Transform Your Business by Being Remarkable
  3. How to Become a Rainmaker: The Rules for Getting and Keeping Customers and Clients
  4. Selling the Invisible : A Field Guide to Modern Marketing
  5. The 22 Immutable Laws of Marketing : Exposed and Explained by the World’s Two
  6. Crossing the Chasm
  7. Guerrilla Marketing : Secrets for Making Big Profits from Your Small Business (Guerrilla Marketing)
  8. Trading Up: The New American Luxury
  9. Marketing Management
  10. The Discipline of Market Leaders: Choose Your Customers, Narrow Your Focus, Dominate Your Market

The best marketing books from my POV are:

  1. Positioning: The Battle for Your Mind
  2. Brand Leadership
  3. Raving Fans
  4. TechoBrands (out of print)
  5. Focus: The Future of Your Company Depends on It
  6. Selling the Invisible : A Field Guide to Modern Marketing
  7. The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference
  8. Free Prize Inside: The Next Big Marketing Idea
  9. Being Direct
  10. A New Brand World: 8 Principles for Achieving Brand Leadership in the 21st Century

So what do you think, is their a “gem” out there Amazon and I have missed?
