Apple’s Move to Intel Chips
June 7th, 2005 | Published in Blogs, Business
The blog world seems to be all up in arms related to Apple’s announcement yesterday that they are moving to Intel as a provider of their chips. Who cares? I sure don’t
I’ve been a loyal customer of Apple since late 1986 and I’m a "Raving Fan." But I don’t care who makes their chips, graphic processors, or disk drives. If Apple will "slap" their logo on a machine with an Intel chip then I have faith it will be a quality product. Period.
Plus, if Intel can provide faster and more cost effective chips that produce less heat, good. If more people buy an iBook or a Mac Mini, if more Windows programs are ported to OSX, or if some smart guy/gal gets an Intel machine to run both operating systems, good, good, and good.
Now that is all I have to say on this subject …
