Mathematical Photography

I saw this image over at Boing Boing and thought it was beautiful. The work is from Justin Mullins of New Scientist.
Justin creates artwork consisting entirely of mathematical equations. He calls
it "mathematical photography." Justin says, "In the same way that an
ordinary photograph is a snapshot of an area of outstanding natural
beauty, a mathematical photograph is a snapshot of mathematical beauty."
