Super Cool Bookcases

October 28th, 2005  |  Published in Books, Design

Although I spend a ton of time online because I work for a virtual company and blog I still have close to a thousands books. Even in a busy week, I usually read at least one if not more books. In fact, I have a single room with six bookcases. They’re a hodgepodge of colors, shapes, and sizes. I wish I could afford to buy some stuff like this and integrate my books into each room in my home.*

"A bookcase Cave provides a private reading space within its form. As a seat height is just above the floor, Cave gives a feeling of hiding from others standing around it. Book can be stored on both sides. Therefore, Cave can also functions as a partition of a room."

"A remedy for those who move home frequently, or those who live in open plan accommodation where the function of a room changes on a regular basis. With a few turns of the handle the books are clamped safely in the unit, which can then be wheeled to its destination."
