Google Trends & Presidential Election

Now I wouldn’t suggest that Google Trends is a proxy for the brand strength of a company, much less a national politician, but search trends are good for a quick snap-shot of what is going on. And this graph is telling to say the least. As you might expect Sarah Palin came out of nowhere, but what I find most interesting is Biden is close to flat lined.
