<p>This is just wonderful.  Michael Bierut, graphic designer, sketches and takes a lot of notes. Like <a href="http://designobserver.com/archives/entry.html?id=38831"><strong>85 notebooks in 26 years worth</strong></a>. I find this just wonderful, since I am an avid note taker (not so much sketching or drawing). A <a href="http://www.leadholder.com/lh-thin-kin-rapidomatic.html"><strong>mechanical pencil</strong></a> and legal pad are rarely more than a few feet from me at any given moment.</p>
<p>Recently I&#8217;ve moved to using several <a href="http://www.moleskines.com/"><strong>Moleskines notebooks</strong></a> (larger version, one that fits in my back pocket, and one in my camera bag) which I hope will stand the test of time better than a legal pad. But I doubt I&#8217;ll have close to a 100 of them in 26 years.</p>
