How much do you charge?
I don’t know. I realize that is a terrible answer, but based on the number of sites you want to target and how proactive you want to be, estimates could range from a few hundred dollars to set-up a “corporate” Facebook page to thousands to mange 3-5 sites on a daily basis.
How long will my project take?
Again, I don’t have a specific response to this question. If you just need a “basic” Facebook page and Twitter account set-up, one week. With that said a detailed production timeline, with due dates for myself and you is provided at the start of each project.
How do you handle meetings?
If you are located nearby, we certainly can have a face-to-face meeting. In fact I would strongly suggest it. However, with 95% of my clients all work is done via phone, email, and interactive screencasts.
Does Social Media Work?
Yes, why yes it does. It is my experience social media is more effective for a consumer product, but it can also be effective for business-to-business products. Where it can be most effective is if you have a physical store location or if you want to promote a cause or non-profit charity.
What Sites Should I Focus On?
That is another difficult question. Personally I think Facebook and Twitter should be your primary focus. But depending on your goals and objectives Pinterest, Foursquare, Google+, and even LinkedIn maybe equally viable options.
Can I manage my own social media?
Yes! In fact, this is something more than anything else you should manage. I’ll set-up a program like TweetDeck for you so you can manage multiple social media sites all through one application from your computer or smart phone.
